Urvashi Dholakia pens note on body positivity, says 'fashion is not just about...'

Urvashi Dholakia celebrated her 44th birthday in July. The actress opted for a fairly old dress from her wardrobe, one that she had sported many years ago. She shared photos of the same with a note in which she expressed her views on body positivity. She also came up with her own definition of 'fashion'.

Urvashi Dholakia shares her stance on body positivity

Urvashi Dholakia recently took to her Instagram handle to share a recent picture of herself from her birthday celebrations back in July. The picture was followed by some throwback images from a decade ago in which the actress could be seen posing in the same dress. Urvashi addressed the pressure that actresses experience, especially on the matter of repeating outfits. She goes on to ask, "which law states that we aren’t allowed to repeat a clothes ?..."

Shifting the conversation to body positivity, the actress also highlighted how proud she is of maintaining herself with the proof being a 13-year old dress she managed to fit in to. Urvashi further detailed how fashion also means honouring clothes and that she is doing the same by showering love on her older outfits. The rest of Urvashi's caption reads, "Fashion is not just about looks it’s about the love for clothes and I have loved this outfit for the last 13 years and will continue to do so with the rest of my outfits FASHION NEVER DIES !"
