Dasara star Nani announces new pan-India film Saripodhaa Sanivaaram with action-packed video | Watch

Nani, who is gearing up for the release of his film Hi Nanna, recently announced his 31st project. On the occasion of Maha Navami aka Ayudh Puja in the south, the makers of Nani 31 unveiled the film's title. The new Telugu film of the Dasara star is titled - Saripodhaa Sanivaaram.

Nani announces new film - Saripodhaa Sanivaaram

On Monday, actor Nani took to his Instagram handle to share a teaser of the film along with announcing its title. The action-packed video opens with a voiceover by Sai Kumar describing the rare and phenomenal quality of the protagonist who is incontrollable on a day in every week. Saturday (Sanivaaram) is that special day. Finally, the title is revealed as Saripodhaa Sanivaaram and it sounds unusual and powerful.

In the video, Nani can be initially seen having his hands tied and leg chained, however, the next frame shows the actor in a dynamic avatar where he unties his hand effortlessly and breaks the chain with a hammer. Soon the place catches fire with papers flying in the air. Eventually, the Natural star is seen breaking a door in style and tying a cloth around his mouth like a mask. Sharing the video, the actor wrote, "Name: Surya. Day: Saturday. Isn't that enough? Beginning with Ayudha Pooja."

What more do we know about Nani 31?

Nani, for his 31st film, has joined hands with filmmaker Vivek Athreya. Saripodhaa Sanivaaram will be reportedly produced on a large canvas by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari of DVV Entertainment, after RRR which won an Oscar Award.

Priyanka Arul Mohan is the female lead, while Tamil Star Actor SJ Suryah is cast in a crucial role in the film. Leading technicians are working on this film. Sensational composer Jakes Bejoy scores the music, while Murali G is the cinematographer. Karthika Srinivas is the editor.

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is a Pan India film that will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages. The other cast and crew of the movie will be announced soon. The movie will have its opening on Dussehra (October 23).
