Niharika Konidela joins the cast of Manchu Manoj led What the Fish, confirms production team

Manchu Manoj has a big year ahead of him, both in terms of his career as well as family life. The actor has come on board as the host of OTT celebrity game show Ustaad, available for streaming on ETV Win. The show was on recently launched with Hi Nanna star Nani coming on board as the first celebrity guest. The actor is also filming for two projects simultaneously - namely, Aham Brahmasmi and What the Fish, the latter of which has an interesting update.

Niharika Konidela joins the cast of What the Fish

The official cast of What the Fish has now expanded. As per a 123Telugu report, in congruence with an official confirmation from banner 6ix Cinemas - the production house bankrolling What the Fish - Niharika Konidela is the latest addition to the Manchu Manoj film. An official character poster for Niharika was shared which appears to imply that the actress will likely be playing a glammed up role.

Niharika will be essaying the role of Ash in the film, short for Ashthalakshmi. The character has been described as performance-oriented and action-driven. What the Fish will reportedly depict family-centric themes in congruence with dark comedy, an interesting combination to look forward to. Directed by debutant Varun, What the Fish has been produced by Vishal Bezawada and Surya Bezawada under the banner of 6ix Cinemas. The music for the film has been given by Shakthikanth Karthick.

What is next for Manchu Manoj?

Aham Brahmasmi and What the Fish will essentially mark Manchu Manoj's return to the silver screen after a gap of 5 years and counting. On the personal front, the actor and wife Bhuma Mounika just announced their first pregnancy.

For the unversed, the couple had tied the knot in March of 2023.
