Producer reveals why Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer Salaar had no pre-release event

Salaar is all set to hit the theaters on December 22. Ahead of its release, the makers of the film released two different trailer videos and a lyrical song video. However, what they missed on is the grand pre-release event, which almost every big budget films organises days before its grand release. While the fans waited until the end minute, there was no announcement made by the makers on the same. Now, the producer of the film Vijay Kiragandur has revealed the reason behind why they didn't hold a pre-release event.

Time crunch kept makers from holding Salaar pre-release event

While having a conversation with 123Telugu, the producer and owner of Hombale Films shared why they didn't organise a pre-release event for the Prabhas-Shruti Haasan starrer film. Talking about it, Vijay Kiragandur said, "We are racing against time. Both Prabhas Garu and Prashanth Neel Garu are currently busy. We will conduct a grand success event very soon."

Salaar, directed by KGF famed director Prashanth Neel, is all set to hit the theaters on December 22. The film stars Prabhas, Shruti Haasan and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles. The film will see the biggest box office clash as it is releasing a day after Raj Kumar Hirani's Dunki. The film is said to be a part of Prashanth Neel's cinematic universe.

What's next for Prabhas, Prashanth Neel?

Actor Prabhas after the release of Salaar will focus on two films. The first being the sequel to his film Salaar, which too will be directed by Prashanth Neel. His second film will be with the Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film is titled Spirit. Meanwhile, Prashanth Neel other than Salaar Part 2, has KGF 3 in his kitty. Both films are backed by Vijay Kiragandur's production house Hombale Films.
