Viral/ Salaar: 750 vehicles including tanks, trucks used to create action scene for Prabhas' film?

According to a source close to the Prabhas starrer more than 750 vehicles including jeeps and tanks have been used in the Prashanth Neel directorial film.

Prabhas is gearing up for the release of Salaar on December 22. Ahead of the film's release, there have been many updates around the film that have been doing the rounds on social media. The latest one is of the film's action scenes. It is being said that over 750 vehicles have been used to bring alive the action extravaganza.

750 vehicles used in Prabhas' Salaar?

According to a source close to the Prabhas starrer more than 750 vehicles including jeeps and tanks have been used in the film. The source said, “Over 750 different vehicles including jeeps, tanks, trucks, etc were procured for the shoot of Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire as there is a lot of on-ground action in the movie. It was as big as any big war sequence of any Hollywood movie.”

One of the most iconic action sequences of the Indian film industry was Yash’s raid of a police station with a heavy machine gun. Hence, the anticipation amongst the audience for ‘Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire’ is high.

What more do we know about Salaar?

The much-anticipated film is also being directed by the KGF director Prashanth Neel. It is also said that Yash's KGF will have a close link to Prabhas' film. More or less like a Prashanth Neel film universe. However, the makers are yet to confirm the same. Produced by Hombale Films, ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire’ also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu in the lead roles.

The film will be released in theatres on December 22, 2023, clashing with Rajkumar Hirani's immigration drama Dunki. In December, we will also witness the release of actress Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi's film Merry Christmas. Other than Salaar, Prabhas will also be seen in Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 AD.
