Sunny Deol Collaborates With South Director Gopichand Malineni For 'Biggest' Action Film

Sunny Deol, who is busy with his upcoming periodic war drama Lahore 1947, is all set to star in an action drama helmed by Gopichand Malineni.

After the success of Veera Simha Reddy, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, filmmaker Gopichand Malineni is all set to join hands with Sunny Deol for action drama. Gopichand had earlier announced a movie with Ravi Teja, RT4GM, but last year in November reports regarding the project being shelved started doing the rounds. With no information regarding the same, it seems the movie has been replaced by Sunny Deol's action drama.

South director joins hands with Bollywood hero

Taking to the official X handle of Mythri Movie Makers, the production house shared the exciting news of South director Gopichand collaborating with Bollywood superstar Sunny Deol. The movie has been dubbed as "biggest action film of the country". "Make way for the biggest action film of the country - #SDGM. Starring Action Superstar Sunny Deol. Directed by Gopichand. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers & @peoplemediafcy. MASS FEAST LOADING!" read the caption.

The makers announced that the movie will soon go on the floors. The music will be composed by S Thaman, whereas Rishi Punjabi and Avinash Kolla have joined the team as a cinematographer and an art director, respectively. Other details regarding the movie have been kept under wrap.

Sunny Deol is currently busy with Lahore, 1947

The actor, who gave a blockbuster hit movie Gadar 2 in 2023, is busy with the shooting of Rajkumar Santoshi's with Lahore 1947. The movie also stars Preity Zinta and is being bankrolled by Amir Khan Productions. Deol also has Border 2 in the pipeline. Both the movies are anticipated to hit the theatres next year.

Meanwhile, Gopichand Malineni has given many memorable movies to Telugu cinema, such as Don Seenu, Pandaga Chesko, Krack and Balupu.
