This is how much Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan charged for Prashanth Neel's Salaar

The Prashanth Neel led action extravaganza has reportedly been mounted on a budget of ₹400 crores. The Prabhas film has been bankrolled by Hombale Films.

Prabhas recently saw through the release of one of the biggest films of the year, Salaar. Salaar: Part One - Ceasefire, released in theatres on December 22. The film earned ₹178.7 crores, worldwide, on its opening day which is being claimed by the makers as being the highest ever, in the history of Indian cinema. The film, from the looks of it, appears to be clearly set up for a smooth theatrical run in the coming days. However, what makes for even more interesting conjecture, is how much the primary cast took home in earnings for their respective performances in the film.

Here is how much Salaar duo Prabhas and Prashanth Neel have reportedly earned from Salaar


As per souce-based reports, Prabhas has taken a clean ₹100 crores as his fee for action thriller Salaar. Additionally, the actor is legally bound to receive 10% on a profit-sharing basis. Separate reports peg the production cost of Salaar at ₹400 crores. Additionally, Prashanth Neel, the director for Salaar, is reportedly taking home a total of ₹50 crores. 


Bankrolled by Hombale Films, Salaar tells the succession story of the bloody succession of the city of Khansaar. Besides Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan and Jagapathi Babu, the film also stars Bobby Simha, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy and Ramachandra Raju in key roles.

As per the same source-based reports, Prithviraj Sukumaran, who plays the parallel lead in Salaar essaying the role of Vardharaja Mannar, has reportedly taken home a pay cheque of ₹4 crores. In contrast, Shruti Haasan, who features opposite Prabhas's Deva as his love interest - Aadhya Krishnakanth, has reportedly charged a sum of ₹8 crores.

Jagapathi Babu, who plays father to Sukumaran's Mannar in the film as Raja Mannar, has reportedly also earned ₹4 crores for his work.
