Who Is Prabhas' Fauji Co-star Imanvi? Actress Bags Dream Debut In Hanu Raghavapudi's Film

Prabhas made the headlines after announcing his new movie Fauji, helmed by Hanu Raghavapudi. The Kalki 2898 AD star will be sharing screen space with debutant Imanvi. Since the makers shared the photos from the puja ceremony, netizens have been wondering who Imanvi is.

Imanvi's real name is Eman Esmail, who earned fame after becoming a social media influencer by posting her dance videos. She has 878 thousand followers on her Instagram handle and her bio reads - Actor, Dancer and Choreographer. Born in Delhi, she has reportedly featured in a short film.

A few days ago, Imanvi took to her Instagram handle to share a series of photos from the muhurat ceremony. "The DAWN of an Epic Saga Of War, Justice and Beyond #PrabhasHanu begins with an auspicious pooja ceremony," read her caption.

What do we know about Fauji?

Set in the 1940s, it is a historical drama that centres on a warrior's quest to deliver justice to his motherland. The official synopsis reads, "While not every historical event resonates with our emotions, this story is penned by a warrior committed to bringing justice to his homeland. Set in the 1940s, this historical fiction/alternate history narrative follows a warrior emerging from the shadows of a society that viewed war as the sole remedy for buried injustices and forgotten truths hidden by history." Prabhas will reportedly play the role of a soldier in the British Army.

Apart from Prabhas and Imanvi, the movie also stars legendary actors Mithun Chakraborty and Jaya Prada in pivotal roles. The movie is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers, while Vishal Chandrasekhar will be composing the music and background score.

The movie will go on the floors on August 24 in Hyderabad.
