The movie is set in 2002 and revolves around the love story of Aasi, a Dalit Christian man, and Sangeetha aka Bebamma, the daughter of an influential man. However, cast differences and ego issues make their relationship complicated. The movie also featured Vijay Sethupathi as Raayanam, the antagonist.
