The makers of WOLF, starring Prabhu Deva, unveiled the trailer on Thursday (August 3). Helmed by Vinoo Venkatesh, the film also stars Raai Laxmi, Vasishta N. Simha, and Anasuya Bharadwaj, in pivotal roles. It is the choreographer's 60th film and will have a pan-India release.

Prabhu Deva is held captive in WOLF teaser

The over one-minute-long teaser offers a glimpse of Prabhu Deva held captive and trying ways to escape the cell. The clip doesn't reveal much about the plot, but it appears mysterious as there are suspense elements like a group of people dressed in a tribal look and practising a cult with a mortal remain. Also, it appears the film is set in different time period.

In one of the frames, the choreographer wakes up from a nightmare following some bizarre visuals The teaser also features some fighting sequences between two groups. Prabhu Deva can also be seen in some power-packed action scenes. 

What is the plot of WOLF?

Reportedly, the film is based on the connection between Prabhu Deva's character and a group of people who worship the goddess for 600 years. The film also stars Anju Kurian, Ramesh Thilak, and Lollu Sabha Swaminathan, in the supporting roles. The film is produced by Sandesh Nagaraj. The cinematography has been done by Arul Vincent, editing by Lawrence Kishore, and the music by Amrish. The film will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada languages.

 

Meanwhile, on the work front, Prabhu Deva also has Flashback, Musasi, Petta Rap, and Rekla lined up. All the films are expected to release next year, but the makers are yet to confirm.
