Indian Forest Service officer Parveen Kaswan shared a video showing houses, streets, and open fields blanketed in ice.

Locals were seen shoveling ice off their doorsteps, a sight unimaginable in a state known for its scorching summer heat.

The unseasonal hailstorm has also destroyed standing crops in districts like Sriganganagar, Churu, Bikaner, and Alwar.

The Meteorological Department reported a significant temperature drop of 2-3°C in Shekhawati and surrounding areas.

The IMD has issued warnings for further rain in Jaipur, Bharatpur, and other affected districts, advising caution.
