3 Men Fall Into Tubewell in Central Kashmir’s Budgam; Rescue Ops On

New Delhi: A harrowing incident unfolded in Gotipora, Khansahib area, located in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday as three men plunged into a tubewell, with two of them succumbing to the same fate while attempting to rescue the first victim.

The sequence of events commenced when Moomin Dar, the son of Mohammad Qasim Dar, accidentally fell into a tubewell within his village premises. Upon witnessing the alarming accident, Amjid Ali, the son of Gulam Mohammad Dar, and Gulam Hassan Wani, the son of Mohammad Sultan, both esteemed residents of Gotipora, rushed to Moomin's aid. Tragically, their valiant efforts to rescue him resulted in both Amjid and Gulam Hassan falling into the tubewell alongside Moomin.
