He stated that in response to the incident, necessary instructions have been issued to all Deputy Commissioners (DCs) and Superintendents of Police (SPs) in the state. An FIR has been filed against four outsiders and eight students who appeared for the examination.
The Haryana government has taken swift and severe action against those implicated in the recent leakage of state board examination papers. A total of 25 police officers and five invigilators have been suspended, pending further investigation.
According to an official release, these officers were found to have failed in their duty to prevent the leakage of examination papers. The government has taken a firm stance against those responsible, demonstrating its commitment to maintaining the integrity of the examination process.
Invigilators and Centre Supervisors Under Scrutiny
In addition to the police officers, four invigilators from government schools and one invigilator from a private school have been suspended. FIRs have been lodged against these individuals, as well as against 12 others, including eight students, who are accused of cheating or facilitating the paper leak.
CM Nayab Singh Saini has assured that a thorough investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the leakage. To prevent such incidents in the future, the government has instructed deputy commissioners and superintendents of police to ensure that unauthorised individuals remain at least 500 metres away from examination centres.
The leakage of examination papers has become a recurring issue in Haryana. The Class-12 English test paper was leaked within 30 minutes of the examination in Nuh district on Thursday, with images circulating on social media.
