Mumbai: Raj Thackeray, the Chief of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has announced the candidates for two assembly seats ahead of the Maharashtra Elections.

The Maharashtra Assembly Elections are expected to take place in October this year; a date for the polls is yet to be announced.

MNS Chief Raj Thackeray Announces Candidates for Two Assembly Seats

The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) Chief Raj Thackeray has announced candidates for two assembly seats.

According to the official announcement, Bala Nandgaonkar will be contesting from Shivadi Assembly constituency of Mumbai.

The other candidature announcement is for Pandharpur and the leader is Dilip Dhotre.

Raj Thackeray To Go Solo in the Assembly Polls?

In another related news, the MNS Chief announced to go solo in Maharashtra Assembly elections. In a sharp criticism of the state's administration, Thackeray challenged the financial feasibility of the Mahayuti alliance's plans.

He remarked, "The Maharashtra government lacks the funds to repair potholes. How will they find the money for 'Laadli Behen' and 'Laadla Bhai?'

He further commented on the internal conflicts within the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) saying, "If both Laadla bhai and behen were happy together, then the party wouldn't have split."

Highlighting the confusion within the current political landscape, Thackeray stated, "One could not make out which MLA is in which party. In upcoming polls, there will be a rumble fight amongst these parties."
