Congress plans to shift AICC HQ to new building in Delhi naming it 'Indira Bhawan'
The Congress party has planned to shift its All India Congress Committee (AICC) Headquarters in Delhi to a new building in the second week of January 2024.

New Delhi: The Congress party has planned to shift its All India Congress Committee (AICC) Headquarters in Delhi to a new building in the second week of January 2024, said sources adding that the new headquarters will be called Indira Bhawan.
Currently, AICC headquerter is located on New Delhi's Akbar Road- 24, Akbar Rd, South Block, Man Singh Road Area, New Delhi, Delhi 110011.
Historically, the headquarter of AICC was located at Swaraj Bhavan, Allahabad, however after independence of India in 1947, it was shifted to 7, Jantar Mantar Marg, near Jantar Mantar, Delhi.
Subsequently, it was shifted to 24 Akbar Road, right behind 10 Janpath, after the 1969 Congress split, under Indira Gandhi.
