Encounter Breaks Out With Terrorists In Gursai Area Of Jammu And Kashmir's Poonch

Poonch: After encounters in Kishtwar and Baramulla, another encounter broke out between joint teams of security forces and a group of terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district. According to police sources, the exchange of fire occurred when the joint team of the Army and the Jammu and Kashmir police were carrying out a search operation.

As per reports, the encounter is underway between the terrorists and the security forces in the Gursai area of Poonch district.

Reportedly, it started after the terrorists opened fire at the security forces during a search operation in the area. The security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a combing operation to trace and neutralise the terrorists.
