Encounter Breaks Out With Terrorists In Jammu And Kashmir's Baramulla

Baramulla: Amidst an ongoing encounter in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar district, another encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in the Baramulla district on Friday. According to the J-K police, the encounter erupted on Friday evening, after a group of terrorists fired at the security forces. 

According to the police, the gunfight started in the Pattan area of the north Kashmir district.

"Encounter has started at Chak Tapper Kreeri Pattan area of #Baramulla," the Kashmir Zone Police said in a post on X.

Police and security forces are on the job and further details shall follow, the police said.
