Florida: During a police hunt of a stolen ambulance, a Florida man made a wrong turn and ended up on the deputies' front lawn, exactly where they wanted him, according to New York Post.
Following the events that transpired in Columbia County on Saturday night, Stanley Williams, 35, is charged with grand theft as well as evading arrest, according to the Columbia County Sheriff's Office, added the New York Post.
According to the press release, a deputy was helping EMS with a person who was allegedly in a "altered mental state" and possibly under the influence of drugs just before midnight, reported the New York Post.
Deputies said that Williams managed to gain access to the ambulance and took off with the vehicle, leading deputies on a pursuit.
Williams allegedly drove the stolen ambulance to the Columbia County Sheriff's Office Operations Center entrance during the pursuit, pulled up onto the front lawn, and stopped close to the main entrance, according to the press release.
