Arnab Goswami sets Nationalist narrative, gives 9 reasons to Switch to Republic Digital

During a day-long marathon broadcast, Republic Media Network's Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami presented nine big reasons why you should switch to Republic Digital and be part of India's biggest news network. Following are the nine reasons why you must #SwitchToRepublicDigital. 

Nation first

“The first reason that I give to you to #SwitchToRepublicDigital is because putting the Nation first and the cause of nationalism is our complete purpose. As an Indian citizen, my belief (is) that working for our national calling is our only purpose. As Indians, it is my belief that the calling of Nation first is in our DNA,” Arnab said. 

“We are the need of the hour. We are the nationalist answer to the anti-Nation forces and that is why you need to switch tomorrow. Because it is time for the nationalists to unite and have the right digital ecosystem of their own. Republic Digital I have no doubt will be that ecosystem,” he further said. 

For national security

Listing out the second reason to opt for Republic Digital, Arnab said that the people need it to wash out the narrative that celebrates terrorism. He said, "We need a nationalist platform because we need to remind ourselves that it was fashionable to support terrorism. It was fashionable to support Maoist terrorism till a few years back. And these are the tendencies, which are very dangerous for national unity.” 

Forces first

“We never compromise on our forces. We promise you that Republic Digital will be forces first. Running down the country was also accompanied with running down the forces. There was a justification to hurl abuses at the Army in Kashmir. The sacrifices that the forces were making were not met with gratitude but with abuse,” Arnab said. 

“We can't be silent about it. We can't be a silent majority. That is why Republic Digital will come with the promise of forces first,” he added. 

True secularism

“We are true secularists. We are not the fake, fluffed, tutored, minority-only secularists. We are those who believe in the majority, and in the power of the majority, and the rights of the majority. And we believe that the majority and the minority could have equal rights,” said Arnab. 

“We don't believe that the rights of minority should outweigh that of the majority. We believe in Indians first and Indians first is our secular definition. Republic will return in double dose and triple measure, true secularism. Because the majority and the minority simply deserve a right media that puts Indians first,” he further said. 

Indians first foreign policy

“We believe the core of India's foreign policy should be Bharat first. We don't believe in wishy-washy talks that want India to bow down before foreign powers,” Arnab said explaining another reason to switch to Republic Digital. 

“We believe in ensuring that Indian interests do not take a backseat. Gone are the days when governments wanted to open a channel with terror-state Pakistan. It is time for India's muscular foreign policy, that's what we believe in and that is what we shall espouse,” he said further. 

Unstoppable Indian economy

“India is the 5th largest economy in this world and there is no stopping us. We are going to be top 3. Moody's, IMF, World Bank, every international body has pinned its hopes on India and called us the fastest growing economy in the world. And Republic is a staunch believer that India will very soon become the third largest economy in the next five years or less. And we will be a developed Nation much, much before 2047. We are going to see it in our lifetimes,” Arnab said on the sixth reason why you must switch to Republic Digital. 

“The doomsday brigade that is predicting doom and gloom for the Indian economy needs to take a backseat. And that is the reason why you must switch to Republic Digital to get the right narrative on the Indian economy and on business as well,” he added. 

Right to investigate

“The seventh reason why you must switch to Republic is because we believe in the freedom to investigate. No other news organisation has done a sting operation on ISS operatives and exposed the level of Jihadi radicalisation. No other news network has exposed and done sting operations on Khalistani terrorists like we have,” Arnab further explained. 

“No other news network has gone after fugitive economic offenders like we have. When it comes to investigative journalism, we have set the agenda. (We have) Set the benchmark, which the others find very hard to match because we have India's interest at our core when we lead the investigation. We have people's issues and the fight for justice at the very heart at our news narrative. So tomorrow when Republic Digital launches, we renew our promise to you on true investigative journalism,” he further said. 

Right to be right

“The eighth reason is because we are a team of editorial fighters. We believe that we have the right to be right. When we fought for justice for Palghar Sadhus, we were threatened with FIRs, were dragged to courts, we were attacked. When we fought for justice for Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Salian, we were called sensationalist journalists,” Arnab said.

“But it is because of our pursuit for justice that this case is still being investigated by the CBI today. We have fought battles and we have won them. Because we have always been on the right side. So switch to Republic to be on the right side. Tell us whether you believe or not that we have a right to be on the right,” he added. 

The right narrative for Bharat

Arnab said that there has been a vacuum in the Indian media space where Indian perspective can be projected on global issues. 

"There is a tearing need for a nationalist voice that speaks for India and Indians. We all need to come together with absolutely no foreign funding on foreign interests,” Arnab said explaining the tenth reason. 

“100% swadeshi Republic Digital will be that voice. A voice that crushes the motivated pseudo-left narrative and sets the correct narrative for India giving a perspective that is not coloured by Soros or Chinese funding or from anyone who is anti-India,” he further said.
