Gaya: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the Vande Bharat Express, connecting Kolkata, a major metropolitan city, to the religious hub of Gaya. The inauguration will take place on September 15, 2024, via video conferencing from Tatanagar Junction, Jamshedpur's main railway station in the city.
The Howrah-Gaya Vande Bharat Express will operate six days a week, covering a distance of 458 km (285 miles) in just 5 hours and 40 minutes, with an average speed of 81 km/h.
