The Town Planning Committee of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation decided to not allow stalls to sell non-vegetarian items along public roads. Committee Chairman Devang Dani told ANI that the sale of non-vegetarian items would not be allowed in the 100-meter radius of schools, colleges, and religious places. The order will be executed from Tuesday onwards. 

Responding to the announcement, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said that the stalls are not allowed to sell food near public roads to avoid traffic blockage.

Singapore has announced the establishment of Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) for fully inoculated travellers from India with valid entry approvals. The lane which would start functioning on November 29 will allow Indian travellers to enter the island country sans post-arrival tests and home quarantine. The same rules would be applied to people entering Indian territory from Singapore.

The minister has also alleged the ruling Maharashtra Government of minority appeasement and not arresting those who indulged in violence. Currently, Bonde has been taken to Kotwali Police Station.

The Supreme Court has made two main suggestions- Work From Home for employees in the NCR region and it directed the Centre to call for an emergency meeting tomorrow over issues like stopping construction, non-essential transport, power plants and implementing work from home to deal with air pollution in Delhi-NCR.

Chief secretaries of Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana are asked to be present for tomorrow's emergency meeting by the Centre.

As the hearing on Delhi's Air Pollution continued, the Supreme Court imposed Work From Home in the NCR and has asked states to conduct an emergency meeting to control the increasing pollution.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued orange alert in six districts of Kerala predicting heavy rainfall. Reports of clashes between ABVP and left students again emerged from Delhi's JNU campus on Sunday night. Several students are said to be injured, informed Delhi Police. The injured ones are admitted to AIIMS and are under treatment. 

As per the army officials, the terrorists first carried out an IED blast to ambush the convoy of 46 Assam Rifles Commanding Officer Colonel Viplav Tripathi & then fired at the vehicles in Churachandpur, Manipur. In the attack, six people were killed — Colonel Viplav Tripathi, his wife, his son and three soldiers. Also, many others have been left injured.

Backing the COP26 climate summit, India on Sunday described it as 'success'. In a statement, Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav, head of the Indian delegation at the Glasgow conference, said that the 'experience of interacting with so many different minds was enriching'. The new climate agreement after the meeting recognised India's intervention for the world to 'phase down' rather than 'phase out' fossil fuels.

In a major victory for the Maharashtra police, at least 26 militants including two top commanders were neutralized during anti-Maoist operations on November 13.

"We had intelligence inputs that in a forest area that significant number of Maoists are present there. Following the leads, we deployed patrolling teams. Maoists opened fire at our search parties in the Gyarapatti area of Gadchiroli in the morning and our parties strongly retaliated," said SP Ankit Goel.

Till now 3 people have been arrested in the alleged case of rape of a minor married girl. The survivor is two months pregnant. Based on the complaint lodged by the survivor, a case has been registered under the child marriage act, rape, molestation & POCSO, said SP Beed Raja Ramasamy.
