Mumbai: Ahead of the inauguration of the iconic Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL) or Atal Bihari Vajpayee Smruti Sewree Nhava Sheva Atal Setu, Rs 250 has been fixed for toll charges for cars on India’s longest sea bridge. Moreover, frequent travellers can benefit from a discounted return pass priced at half of the one-way fare. For those seeking a daily pass, the cost is 2.5 times the one-way fare, and a monthly pass is available at 50 times the one-way fare.

The decision on the toll charges was taken at the weekly Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Thursday. Earlier on Thursday, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority had proposed a toll of Rs 500 for MTHL, India’s longest sea bridge that will be inaugurated by PM Modi on January 12.
