Video of the near-miss surfaced on Tuesday, showing the woman & many others standing just inches from the tracks taking selfie as the train slams through.
One woman was struck by a speeding train in Turkey while taking a picture just inches from the rails, yet she managed to survive.
In the Belemedik Nature Park in the Pozanti district of Adana, Turkey, the woman was taking pictures with her friends when a train sped past, hitting her hand.
Video of the near-miss surfaced on Tuesday, showing the woman and many others standing just inches from the tracks and raising their thumbs in the air as the train slams through.
The group of women can be seen smiling and raising their thumbs in the air before the approaching train smacks a woman's hand. The woman pulls away in pain as the train sped past.
Before another member of the group approaches to check on her, she can be seen nearly collapsing in shock and distress.

The video concludes with the woman being consoled by friends while inspecting her wounded hand.
According to local media, the woman was struck and transported to the hospital by her friends.
She was discharged from the hospital following an assessment and treatment.
