'Perks of Working at Reliance': Ambanis' Gift to Their Employees For Anant-Radhika Wedding Is Viral

New Delhi: Anant Ambani, the younger son of Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani, is set to marry Radhika Merchant in a grand wedding ceremony in Mumbai tomorrow. In celebration, Reliance employees have received special gift boxes.

Many employees shared images and videos of the red gift boxes they received on social media in anticipation of the wedding on July 12. The boxes feature gold lettering that reads: “With the divine grace of our devis and devtas, we celebrate the wedding of Anant and Radhika. With best wishes, Nita and Mukesh Ambani.” 

Inside the gift boxes are four packets of Haldiram’s namkeen, including aloo bhujia sev and lite chiwda, a box of sweets, and a silver coin.

Taking to X, several Reliance employees share the picture of the gift. “Thankyou ⁦@reliancejio⁩ for the sweets We wish best for the Anant Ambani’s wedding”, shared an user.

Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant Wedding 

The pre-wedding festivities for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant kicked off with a lavish three-day celebration in March, hosted at the expansive Reliance estate in Jamnagar. The highlight of this event was a private concert by Rihanna, followed by a performance from Diljit Dosanjh the next day.

Following the Jamnagar festivities, private parties for the bride and groom’s friends were held in London. In early June, the Ambani family organized a luxury cruise for hundreds of guests, featuring stops across Italy and France.

In the week leading up to the wedding, the Ambani family has continued the celebrations with a series of events, including a sangeet with a performance by Justin Bieber, a Mameru ceremony, a garba night, a Haldi ceremony, and a Mehendi ceremony with a Shiv Shakti Pooja.
