‘INDI Bloc Did Not Give Due Respect to Chaudhary Charan Singh’, Says PM Modi
PM Modi highlighted BJP's achievements from abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir to providing free ration to 80 crore people.
PM Modi in Meerut: Sounding poll bugle from Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday highlighted BJP's achievements from abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir to providing free ration to 80 crore people. Tearing into the opposition, PM Modi said that the INDI alliance is busy saving the corrupt. Addressing the public, PM Modi said, “The choice is upto you, whether you want to save the corrupt or want the country to walk on the path of development.” PM Modi pointed out that he has attacked the wealth of corrupt politicians and distributed them for the development of the country.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Lok Sabha candidate from Meerut Arun Govil, RLD Chairman Jayant Chaudhary, SB SP OP Rajbhar, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini and UP Cabinet Minister Sanjay Nishad were also present.
The BJP has put forward Arun Govil as their candidate from Meerut, known for his portrayal of Lord Ram in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan during the 1980s.
The BJP also eyes Western UP with optimism to achieve its ambitious target of 370 seats on its own, despite facing setbacks in the last elections.

While addressing a public rally in Meerut, PM Modi said, “The INDI alliance, which hates farmers, did not even give due respect to Chaudhary Charan Singh. The entire country saw what the INDI alliance did inside the Parliament during the discussion in the Parliament. When our younger brother Jayant Chaudhary stood up to speak in Parliament regarding the Bharat Ratna award, an attempt was made to stop him, an attempt was made to humiliate him. Congress and SP should go door-to-door and apologize to the farmers of this area for this.”

While addressing a rally at Meerut, PM Modi said, “Today, yet another anti-India conduct of Congress has been unveiled. The island of Katchatheevu, which lies between India and Sri Lanka and is extremely important from the perspective of national security, was given away by Congress after independence. India is still paying for the misdoings of the Congress government.”
