FIR registered against Karnataka Minister D Sudhakar for cheating Dalits
A case has been registered against Karnataka's Planning and Statistics Minister D. Sudhakar for allegations of cheating, assaulting and committing atrocities.
A case has been registered against Karnataka's Planning and Statistics Minister D. Sudhakar over allegations of cheating, assaulting and committing atrocities against Dalits. A Dalit family residing on a disputed property levelled charges on the minister which also involves real estate developers Seven Hills.
According to the complainants - Subbamma and Asha, they reside in a property currently under dispute. Both Sudhakar and the real estate developers Seven Hills are engaged in a legal battle in court over this property. While these cases are still in the court proceedings phase, an unexpected incident occurred on Saturday.
Minister D. Sudhakar, Srinivas and Bhagyamma, along with a group of around 35 to 40 people, including 15 women, suddenly arrived at the location with a JCB and a car with them. They proceeded to demolish the buildings, sheet roofs, and compound walls using the JCB. Upon learning of the situation and rushing to the scene, Subbamma, Asha, and others were allegedly assaulted by the group.
It's reported that Subbamma's daughter, Asha, was also subjected to an assault. When questioned about their actions, the assailants allegedly used caste-based abuse.
An FIR has been registered against Real Estate developers, Minister D Sudhakar, Srinivas, Bhagyamma and 35 others Under SC and the ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, IPC 1860 (U/s-427, 143, 147, 149, 447, 323) 3.
