In the wake of recent controversial remarks made by Udhayanidhi Stalin, son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and a DMK Minister, security has been substantially increased at his Greenway residence in Chennai. The heightened security measures come days after Udhayanidhi sparked controversy by comparing Sanatan Dharma to diseases like "Malaria and Dengue" and advocating for its "eradication".

Typically, three police officers are assigned to protect each minister's residence. However, on Tuesday morning, an additional ten police officers were deployed to bolster security at the DMK leader's residence, according to sources. This sudden increase in security follows a development where Ayodhya seer Paramhans Acharya publicly announced a reward of Rs 10 crore for anyone who beheads Udhayanidhi Stalin due to his remarks on Sanatan.

Paramhans Acharya's chilling statement read, "I will pay Rs 10 crore cash reward to anyone who beheads Stalin and brings his head to me. If no one dares to kill Stalin, I will myself find him and kill him."

Udhayanidhi's controversial remark on Sanatan

Udhayanidhi's controversial comments on Sanatan Dharma were made during a public address on Saturday. He stated, "I thank the organisers of this conference for giving me the opportunity to deliver a special address. You have kept the name of the conference as 'Sanatana Abolition Conference' rather than 'Anti-Sanatana Conference', I appreciate that. Few things cannot be opposed, that should be abolished only."

"We can't oppose Dengue, Mosquitoes, Malaria, or Corona, we have to eradicate this that's how we have to eradicate Sanatana. Rather opposing Sanatana it should be eradicated. The name Sanatana is from Sanskrit. It is against Social Justice and equality," he said.

Following a massive uproar over his remarks, complaints have been filed against Udhayanidhi. Nevertheless, the DMK leader remained unapologetic, reiterating his stance when confronted by the Republic on Monday, saying, "I will stick to my views."
