Rain LIVE: Parts of India are receiving rainfall for the last few days which has brought much-need respite from the searing heat. The downpour has also provided relief to Delhiites who are waking up to cloudy skies lately. Rains lashed several parts of Delhi and its adjoining areas, including Noida, on Friday, further bringing the temperatures down. With this, the maximum temperature in the national capital on Friday settled at 33.2 degree Celsius, three degrees below normal. The IMD has predicted more showers for the city on Saturday. - Water Level of Rivers in Bihar Rising Due to Incessant Rain
Water level of different rivers in Bihar have started rising at several places due to torrential rain in the last 24 hours, officials said on Saturday. Light to moderate rain was recorded in many districts, including Banka, Begusarai, Bhagalpur, Bhojpur, Buxar, Gaya, Jehanabad, Kaimur, Katihar, Khagaria, Munger, Nalanda, Patna, Nawada, Purnea, Saran, Sheikhpura, Siwan and Vaishali since July 4, according to the latest rainfall bulletin issued by the Water Resources Department (WRD).

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert in Kumaon division of Uttarakhand for today. Schools and anganwadi centres in all the six districts in region will remain closed today.
- More Rain in Store for Delhi on Weekend
Delhiites woke up to cloudy skies on Saturday with the minimum temperature being recorded at 27.1 degrees Celsius, 0.8 notches below the season's average, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The weather department predicted generally cloudy skies with the possibility of light rain during the day. The maximum temperature is likely to settle around 33 degrees Celsius, it said. As per IMD updates, the city will witness a wet weekend. In its seven-day forecast, the IMD said the city will received light rain till July 7.
