Sub-zero temperatures in Manali, Keylong in Himachal

Cold conditions prevailed in Himachal Pradesh on Monday with the minimum temperature in Keylong settling at minus 7.2 degrees Celsius, the meteorological department said.

Manali in Kullu district recorded a low of minus 1.2 degrees Celsius whereas the minimum temperature in Kalpa of Kinnaur district was 0.6 degrees Celsius, Shimla MeT Centre Director Manmohan Singh said.

The minimum temperature in Kufri was 2 degrees Celsius followed by 2.5 degrees in Dalhousie and 5.6 degrees Celsius in Shimla, he added. PTI DJI DV
