New Delhi: The Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra-starrer ‘The Sabarmati Report’ has been getting an extremely positive response since its release and most recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also appreciated the film. After PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah has also hailed the recently released film for ‘exposing the truth’.

Home Minister Amit Shah Appreciates ‘The Sabarmati Report’

In a social media post on ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter), Union Home Minister Amit Shah has appreciated the film ‘The Sabarmati Report’ which is running successfully in the theatres. The Home Minister congratulated the team for ‘exposing the truth behind the fateful episode’.

Amit Shah's post read, “No matter how hard a powerful ecosystem tries, it cannot keep the truth hidden in darkness forever. The film The Sabarmati Report defies the ecosystem with unparalleled courage and exposes the truth behind the fateful episode to broad daylight.”

PM Modi Hails ‘The Sabarmati Report'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday extended his support to Sabarmati Report, a film he praised for effectively countering misinformation and exposing hidden truths. Taking to social media, PM Modi commended the creators for their efforts in unraveling facts for the public.

In a post on ‘X’, PM Modi said, “It is good that this truth is coming out, and that too in a way common people can see it. A fake narrative can persist only for a limited period of time. Eventually, the facts will always come out.”

All About The Sabarmati Report

Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna and Rodhi Dogra star in the film from director Ranjan Chandel. It is said to be inspired by true events that followed in the aftermath of the Godhra train burning incident in 2002 in Gujarat . Vikrant is seen as a journalist in The Sabarmati Report. He dubbed the incident as "India's 9/11 which changed our socio-political fabric overnight" while drawing parallels with the September 11, 2001 terror attacks in New York and the Godhra incident.
