Lucknow: Two individuals, Tahar Singh and Omprakash Mishra, were arrested by Uttar Pradesh’s Special Task Force (STF) on Wednesday for allegedly posting threats on social media to bomb Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and target Ayodhya's Ram temple in a blast.

According to an official statement, the arrests took place in the Vibhuti Khand area of Gomti Nagar in Lucknow.

The suspects had used the handle '@iDevendraOffice' on platform 'X' in November to issue threats against Adityanath, STF chief Amitabh Yash, and the Ram temple.

The investigation initially identified the email IDs 'alamansarikhan608@gmail.com' and 'zubairkhanisi199@gmail.com' as the sources of the threatening posts.

Through technical analysis, it was determined that Tahar Singh created the email accounts, while Omprakash Mishra was responsible for sending the threatening messages.

Both individuals, residents of Gonda and employed at a paramedical institute, are now in custody. The STF is actively pursuing further leads in this case to ensure a comprehensive investigation.
