Delhi Traffic Alert: Avoid Chattarpur Road on THESE Days Ahead of Radha Soami Gathering

The Delhi Police have issued a traffic advisory ahead of the Radha Soami Satsang Beas religious congregation at the Radha Soami Satsang Complex.

New Delhi: The Delhi Police have issued a traffic advisory ahead of the Radha Soami Satsang Beas religious congregation at the Radha Soami Satsang Complex from October 25 to October 27, 2024.

The congregation, scheduled daily from 4 a.m. to 6 p.m is expected to attract over 3 lakh devotees from India and abroad, including VIPs and high-ranking dignitaries.

Adequate arrangements have been made for traffic diversions and regulation. The public and motorists are advised to use public transport to avoid road congestion.

Traffic Advisory Details:

Entry to Satsang Complex:

Entry to the Satsang Complex is accessible from Bhati Mines Road for all devotees and vehicle types. All invitees and devotees are advised to arrive by 6:00 a.m. to avoid congestion en route. Separate entries have been designated for different vehicle categories and visitors.

Devotees from Faridabad and Gurugram are advised to reach the complex via Dera Border to minimize inconvenience.

Parking Arrangements:

The Radha Soami Satsang Complex, Bhati Mines, has organized adequate parking for all vehicle categories. Informational signage has been placed for devotees' guidance. No parking will be allowed on SSN Marg.

Road Restrictions:  

Heavy Traffic Vehicle (HTV) restrictions will apply on Bhati Mines Road between Chattarpur Road (SSN Marg) - Gurgaon Road T-Point and the Satsang Complex from October 25 to October 27, 2024, between 4:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. The public is advised to avoid Chattarpur Road (SSN Marg) during these hours.

Heavy Vehicle Diversions:
From Mandi Road - Jonapur cut to Mehrauli-Gurugram Road  
Near Mallu Farm on Badshahpur Road cut on Bhati Mines Road to Jonapur Mehrauli-Gurugram Road  

Motorists are advised to follow these traffic diversions to avoid congestion from 4:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on October 25-27.

Emergency Vehicles:
All emergency vehicles, including Delhi Police, ambulances, and fire brigade vehicles, have unrestricted access on restricted/diverted roads for emergency duties. Emergency vehicles from Faridabad are advised to take the Mehrauli-Gurugram Road via Dera More and Mandi Border to avoid delays.
