Mughalsarai to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction 

One of the most notable changes was the renaming of Mughalsarai Junction to Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Railway Junction. This shift pays homage to the prominent philosopher and political activist Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay.  

Faizabad to Ayodhya Junction 

The city of Faizabad has officially been renamed Ayodhya, and its railway station follows suit. This change reflects the cultural and historical significance of Ayodhya, a city deeply rooted in Indian mythology. 

Allahabad to Prayagraj Junction
