PAN Card for Minors: Step by step guide to apply for permanent account number

A minor can apply for a PAN card. If a minor earns more than Rs 15,000 per month then he can file ITR. It is very important to have a PAN card to file ITR. There is no such age limit to file an ITR.

How to Apply - Step by step process

Step 1: Visit the official website of NSDL 

Step 2: Read the instructions carefully to fill out Form 49A. 

Step 3: Upload necessary documents such as birth certificate, photos, Adhar card and photo of the parents. Upload signatures of parents only. 

Step 4: Proceed with payment of Rs 107. on the submit button. Saved the number provided to track the status of the application.
