In a Texas parking lot, a spooky sight unfolded as a huge flock of birds gathered, like the classic movie, "The Birds." Captured in a viral video, it resembled Hitchcock's film's dramatic ending. Hundreds of birds filled a strip mall parking lot, seemingly unbothered by people and cars, busy searching for food in the trash.

Yvone Gomez, who recorded the scene on January 2, compared it to an "Alfred Hitchcock movie." She noted the birds' unusual fearlessness, staying calm even when she honked to scatter them.

Online, users explained that such bird gatherings are common during winter in Dallas. Some speculated about a historical connection, suggesting the area might have been a roosting site in the past.

One user said, "Possibly the parking lot had big Texas oak trees where birds historically roosted. The location is ingrained in their bird-brained navigation system."

Another mentioned, "It's creepy, but it happens a lot in Dallas. I lived in Frisco and saw this at least 10 times in parking lots."

These adaptable birds, great-tailed grackles, are often found where humans live with some trees. The organization's website mentioned that they're protective parents, defending nests aggressively, even against perceived threats like humans.
