Laurent's artistic journey began during a family vacation last year, where he discovered a love for painting at a hotel studio. His mother, Lisa, recalls, “When we got home, Laurent just wanted to paint—paint, paint, paint, all the time,” citing an AFP report. This newfound passion prompted his parents to create a home studio filled with canvases, brushes, and paints, allowing him to explore his creativity to the fullest.

As Laurent’s artwork started to gain traction, his parents launched an Instagram account to showcase his creations. Within just a month, the account amassed 10,000 followers, quickly capturing the attention of art lovers and galleries alike. Today, the account boasts nearly 90,000 followers, a glowing testament to the toddler’s growing fame in the art sphere.

Laurent’s paintings are characterized by a mix of abstract forms and recognizable animal figures, including his favourites—elephants and dinosaurs. Lisa describes her son's preference for bright colours, noting, “He doesn’t like boring colours,” and emphasizes his innate ability to blend hues effectively.
