Debate With Arnab: Yogi Adityanath's Stern Warning To Mahakumbh Baiters
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday issued a strong warning against any attempts to disrupt the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela, emphasizing that the grand spiritual gathering will remain “peaceful and inclusive.” While addressing the Assembly during the discussion on the Governor’s address, CM Yogi dismissed allegations of discrimination and cautioned against those seeking to create chaos. “If there were no world-class arrangements at Maha Kumbh, 63 crore devotees would not have come till now. By February 26, this number will cross 65 crores,” Yogi said. Addressing concerns about caste-based restrictions, Yogi firmly denied such claims. “You said that people of a particular caste were stopped from going to Maha Kumbh. We say that no one was stopped.” “If someone creates chaos, then he will not be allowed to do so,” Yogi warned. Yogi also took a veiled swipe at the Samajwadi Party (SP), for the party’s stance on religious matters. “SP had denied the existence of Lord Ram. Today, they are taking a holy dip in Maha Kumbh,” he remarked.
