FC Bayern Munich continued their great start to the season by battling with Valencia Basket before finally pulling away late for a 90-79 victory in Germany on Thursday. Bayern closed the game on an 11-1 run over the final 2:30 minutes to improve to 6-2 with six wins in the last seven games.

Vladimir Lucic collected 22 points, seven rebounds and a career high index rating of 35 while Paul Zipser poured in 20 points. JaJuan Johnson picked up career bests of 17 points and eight rebounds and Malcolm Thomas chipped in 11 points as Bayern beat Valencia for the first time. Valencia dropped to 4-3 despite Klemen Prepelic tallying 18 points and five assists, and Bojan Dubljevic scoring 12 points.
