Micic seals last-gasp 84-83 EuroLeague win for Anadola Efes over Crvena Zvezda

A last-second free throw from Vasilije Micic gave EuroLeague champions Anadolu Efes Istanbul an 84-83 victory over Crvena Zvezda in a thriller on Wednesday.

Micic held his nerve with two free throws after drawing a foul on Stefan Markovic at the end of an epic final quarter.

Crvena Zvezda must have thought they were home as they led by seven points with under two minutes left but the home side roared their team on to a memorable win.

Micic hit 21 points in all, two fewer than team-mate Tibor Pleiss, while Nikola Kalinic's 20 points were in vain for Crvena Zvezda.
