BMX star Daniel Dhers back in Venezuela preparing for Tokyo 2020

Five-time X-Games BMX Freestyle Gold medalist Daniel Dhers is in hometown of Caracas in Venezuela to continue his preparations for next year's Olympic Games in Tokyo. When he turned 30, in 2015, he thought his days of high competition were coming to an end, but the chance to compete in an Olympiad came and, with it, the motivation to move on.

Dhers is in Caracas for a short period of time before returning back to the United States, where he has been living for 20 years. He set up an inflatable ramp on the yard of the school where he studied as a kid and spends time between errands training with other BMX apprentices.
