China-born Jackson He makes US college football history with touchdown

Arizona State University walk-on running back Jackson He made history in the waning minutes of the Sun Devils 70-7 blowout win over intrastate rival Arizona on Friday.

Up 63-7 in the fourth quarter, He became what is believed to be the first Chinese-born player to score a touchdown in the history of the major US college football.

After coming to America from China at the age of 17, He played only a year of high school football before walking on at Arizona State.

He wears his name in Chinese characters on the back of his jersey to honour his heritage.
