'A massive allegation': Shaji Prabhakaran makes his first public comment since AIFF sacked him
Former All India Football Federation secretary general Shaji Prabhakaran hits back at AIFF after he was removed from the post on Wednesday.
Shaji Prabhakaran has been sacked from the post of Secretary General by the All Indian Football Federation. The AIFF executive committee cited a breach of trust after removing Shaji from his post. AIFF Deputy Secretary, Mr M Satyanarayan has been given the additional charge of acting Secretary General.

Shaji Prabhakaran sacked by AIFF for breaching of trust
AIFF issued a statement on Wednesday confirming the development. "The All India Football Federation hereby announces that the services of Dr. Shaji Prabhakaran have been terminated due to breach of trust with immediate effect as of November 7, 2023.
The AIFF Deputy Secretary, Mr M Satyanarayan, will take charge as Acting Secretary General of AIFF with immediate effect.'
Shaji Prabhakaran hits back at AIFF
Shaji hit back at the AIFF as he claimed it was a massive allegation aiming against him. He posted on X, "AIFF's decision to terminate me comes as a shock. We were working as a team.
"Charging me for 'breach of trust' is a massive allegation.
"More on this later. I remain a servant of the beautiful game and thank you all who have supported me in my honest effort for Indian football."
Former Indian footballer and football administrator Bhaichung Bhutia extended his helping hands to the former Secretary General. In an interaction with PTI, he said, “The breach of trust should not be on Shaji alone but all the members heading the AIFF, including the president, vice-president and treasurer."
It remains to beseen whether Shaji opts to take the legally way to fight his case against the AIFF
