A blistering second half saw Atalanta ease to a 5-2 win over Serie A strugglers Parma on Sunday (9th May) to move back above Napoli and into second place in the table.

Ruslan Malinovskyi opened the scoring for Atalanta in the 12th minute, but it was a second half flurry that secured the win.

Goals from Matteo Pessina, Aleksey Miranchuk and two from Luis Muriel saw the visitors dominate a pulsating second half, while Juan Brunetta and Simon Sohm both scored late on to provide some consolation for the hosts.

Regardless, it was a sixth straight league loss for relegated Parma.
