If you are a football fan, you have heard this quote multiple times on social media about the retirement of the greatest football player ever to play the game. Yes, you guessed the right Lionel Messi, or, as we say, World Champion Lionel Messi, who won the biggest trophy of the game almost a year ago, has hinted at his retirement many times.

Messi has won each and every trophy of the game and completed football last year, putting Argentina on the world cup-winning pedestal.

Messi started his career with Newell's Old Boys and then went to Europe to join FC Barcelona, where he stayed for more than a decade. The partnership between Lionel Messi and Barcelona will go down as one of the best in the history of football. Messi played 778 games for Barcelona and scored 672, and this duo won 34 trophies and three Club World Cups.

Messi then moved to Paris Saint-Germain with his old teammate Neymar Jr. and scored 35 goals while winning three trophies with the team. This was a turning point in his career, where he won three consecutive titles with Argentina: the Copa America, Finalisma, and then the precious FIFA World Cup. After achieving and conquering everything that was possible in football, Messi went to enhance the value of American football. 

Lionel joined Inter Miami, where he has scored 11 goals in 13 matches.
