Manchester City are back at the top of the Premier League table after beating Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium. The Pep Guardiola-managed side scored six goals and conceded only one. A brace from Bernando Silva and goals from Doku, Akanji, Foden, and Ake secured three points for Manchester City.

Julian Alvarez lost a tooth during the celebration 

After defeating Bournemouth 6-1, Manchester City became the Premier League's top team. Jeremy Doku opened the score in the 31st minute, and goals from Bernardo Silva and Manuel Akanji followed before the first half ended at the Etihad Stadium. It was an exciting encounter. After an hour, Luis Sinisterra gave the visiting team a consolation goal, but the onslaught persisted as Phil Foden added his name to the scoresheet. Later on in the game, Nathan Ake and Silva added to City's goal total, while Doku proved his ability to create opportunities by dishing up four assists.

But then an odd thing happened following Silva's first goal. Striker Julian Alvarez lost a tooth amid the celebration, which was pointed out by Portuguese star Bernardo Silva. The World Cup winner from Argentina acknowledged the unexpected finding with a palm to his mouth that gave off an air of surprise. After the game, the 23-year-old Alvarez showed off a full set of teeth on Instagram, indicating that he had overcome his dental problem.

In the grand scheme of things, Julian Alvarez has plenty of reasons to be pleased. Manchester City's dominating victory not only ensured them a commanding position in the Premier League, but it also drove them to the top of the league table, surpassing Tottenham.
