Aaron Hickey could be the next big thing in English Football

Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United, as well as Bayern Munich, are all vying to sign Aaron Hickey away from Brentford. These football juggernauts have taken notice of the 21-year-old fullback due to his impressive play at both the club and international levels.

Thomas Frank, manager of Brentford, has publicly stated his aversion to cutting ties with Hickey. Despite Frank's best efforts, Hickey's stardom continues to rise in the Premier League. The Scottish international has had an incredible rise to prominence since leaving Hearts as a youth to play for two seasons in Bologna, and now he has drawn interest from Premier League giants Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United. All such teams are eyeing signing some young stars in order to have long-term returns from the players. The Premier League is known for creating some big names in the world of football by signing young Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Eden Hazard, and more players who went on to change the face of football later on in their careers.

Aaron Hickey is a key member of the Scotland squad

Hickey's ability to contribute on either wing is a major reason for his 11 appearances for Scotland's national team. His participation is essential if Scotland is to qualify for the upcoming European Championships. Competition to sign Hickey is likely to increase in the upcoming January transfer window. Hickey will continue to play for Brentford until the end of the season, with his next game being on September 27th against Arsenal in the third round of the EFL Cup.
