'I think Edge will...': WWE veteran opines whether Edge will leave WWE and Join AEW

Contrary to previous rumours, professional wrestler Bill Apter thinks Edge may decide against joining AEW because of his allegiance to WWE. In his purported final WWE match, the Rated-R Superstar defeated Sheamus on the August 18 episode of SmackDown in a match that would go down in history. Since then, there has been a lot of talk regarding Edge leaving the company for AEW when his contract expires at the end of September.

Edge to become All Elite? No, says WWE veteran

While the rumour mill is loud with him joining the All Elite Wrestling. The WWE veteran Bill Apter, however, does not believe that the veteran joining Tony Khan's promotion would actually happen. In an interview with Sportskeeda's, Apter said that the Hall of Famer's allegiance to WWE prevents him from joining AEW.

"To me, I think Edge will stay loyal to WWE. That's just my feeling," said Bill Apter

Can Edge comeback and join forces with John Cena

In the recent storyline, John Cena is in a feud with Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso. The 16-time World Champion is in need of a partner as AJ Styles has been taken out by Sikoa. So, while LA Knight was the intended option at first, him being out due to Covid-19 has left the spot open. Thus, when room is open, why not bring Edge into the fray. John Cena and Edge had a historic rivalry during their time at the peak but never did the duo came together for a tag team run. Grayson Waller wants rematch with the Edge

Waller may have lost to The Rated-R Superstar in his main roster debut, but he still plans to face the icon again. Grayson Waller stated in a recent interview that he wants to fight the former WWE Champion again because he was injured after their previous encounter.

"That was a huge match. Main event, Madison Square Garden, my [main roster] debut, all those big things. Also my first match back from a broken leg. So, you know, he's going against a 70 percent Grayson Waller. Everyone saw what I could do at 70 percent. I really wanna get back in there with him when I'm a hundred percent and get in there when I'm at my best, when I'm ready to go," said Waller.
