MLB player Tzu-wei Lin draws attention for playing in mask

Boston Red Sox Taiwanese infielder Tzu-wei Lin is one of the rare players in major league baseball who are wearing a mask while playing.

MLB coronavirus protocols require players and staff to wear masks while in the dugout but not while playing, however Lin has decided to wear a mask at all times including when at bat and out in the field.

Lin went 0-2 at the plate on Wednesday in the Red Sox 6-5 win over the New York Mets.

But he made up for it defensively by sparking a pair of double plays at second base...while wearing his mask of course.
