Nitesh Kumar wins Gold medal in the men's singles Badminton SL3 category at Paris Paralympics 2024. Kumar defeated Britain's Daniel Bethell in the final to obtain the topmost position at the podium. This is India's 2nd Gold medal at the Paralympics. India's tally has risen to 9 medals.

India's Nitesh Kumar will be up against Britain’s Daniel Bethell in Men’s Singles SL3 para-badminton Gold Medal Match

India's para-discus thrower Yogesh Kathuniya has won the 8th medal for India after he stood second in the Men's Discus Throw F56 Final. At the Paris Paralympics, Kathuniya's best attempt of 42.22m helped him secure a silver medal finish for the country.

Yogesh Kathuniya is currently number two in the points table with his best throw of 42.22 m. 

India's Nithya, Sivarajan were overpowered by Indonesia's Subhan and Marlina as they secure the bronze medal in the mixed doubles SH6. The Indian duo remains medal-less. 

Nithya Sivan & Sivarajan Solaimalai have lost Game 1 of the bronze medal match  21-17.

Paralympian Yogesh Kathuniya will be in action at the Men's discus throw F56 Final. The event will begin at 01:35 PM IST.

Indian shuttlers have qualified for the finals of their respective events, guaranteeing three medals for the country's badminton team. 

Suhas Yathiraj advanced to the men's singles SL4 final by defeating fellow countryman Sukant Kadam in straight games. 

Nitesh Kumar also advanced to the finals with a convincing straight-game victory and won his first medal in the men's singles SL3 category.

In an all-India match, Thulasimathi Murugesan defeated fellow countrywoman Manisha Ramadass to advance to the women's singles SU5 badminton final at the Paralympics. 

In the Sunday night semifinal, Murugesan, the top-seeded player from Tamil Nadu, defeated Ramadass 23-21, 21-17.
