During the Indian Olympians' meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence, PM Modi asked Lakshya Sen regarding the hyped fanfare of the fans for him. The ace Indian shuttler responded by saying that he did not have his phone during the matches as their mentor had some strict regulations.
"Prakash Sir had taken away my phone during the matches, and said that I would only get it back after they ended. But yes, I got a lot of support. I would want to say that this (Paris Olympics) was a good learning experience for me. It was also a little heartbreaking that I missed out even after coming so close. I will try my best next time," Lakshya Sen said while speaking to PM Modi.
“Prakash Sir was so disciplined and strict, I will send him the next time as well,” PM Modi said in reply to Lakshya.

Star Olympians like PR Sreejesh, Manu Bhaker, Harmanpreet Singh, Swapnil Kusale, and more were present at the Prime Minister's residence in Lok Kalyan Marg, Delhi. However, silver medalist Neeraj Chopra was not present as he had directly flown to Germany from Paris. The Indian javelin ace is expected to get medical advice to address his longstanding groin issue, for which he might take up surgery. PV Sindhu was also not seen at the PM House, while Vinesh Phogat is yet to return to India.
